Anddddd another one.

Dessert for breakfast once again my friends!

Hehe.

I’m kind of on a roll and my sweet tooth could not be happier.

Well maybe if I fed it real cinnamon rolls daily but then the rest of my bod would be rather irritated.

In more ways than one.

Anyway.

This smoothie is inspired by the classic banana split dessert.

Honestly, I’ve never actually had a real banana split, but I can imagine how satisfying they can be.

Good junior high date material, right?

Not that I would complain if someone aka my BF would take me out for ice cream at the ripe old age of 27.

Now we all know that banana splits are maybe not the best when it comes to breakfast, so I figured I’d make a super easy, simple, and fast blended concoction that has some of the same fruity flavors going on without alllll the sugar and fat.

It’s supposedly bikini season after all.

That statement may not be politically correct these days but what ever.

All you have to do here is blend up uber sweet frozen banana slices, frozen strawberries, fresh juicy Bing cherries (pits removed of course), toasted coconut almond milk (or creamy canned lite coconut milk for an extra lush drank), plus a splash of pure vanilla extract.

Blend blend blend.

Top your summer sipper off with chopped dark chocolate, nutty toasted almonds, and more fresh cherries.

Now dig in!

P.S. Feel free to swap in toasted walnuts for the almonds if you prefer those guys or just happen to have them on hand.

P.P.S. If you want actual chocolatey flavor in your smoothie, add a tablespoon of cacao powder. Bam!

P.P.P.S. Make sure your banana slices are ripeee for that real banana flavor and natural sweetness!
